The manual-operated retractable awning is easy to use, requiring no electricity. Simply turn the hand crank to raise or lower the front pitch bar, adjusting the slope of the canopy to accommodate the sun's angle. Please read the instructions carefully before installation.
Designed for use in wind conditions up to Beauport scale 4, the awning features a sturdy, corrosion-resistant T5 grade aluminum frame and a lightweight, solid structure. The fabric is water-resistant, anti-UV, and resistant to sun fading, providing 50+ UV protection.
The retractable arms are made of aluminum and steel, with double-rope torsion bars for added safety. The package includes the awning, crank handle, brackets, and an instruction manual, along with additional mounting hardware.
For installation, a power drill with a drilling bit, tape, and a wrench are recommended. The awning should be installed at a height of 8 to 12 feet, with the tilt of the retractable bracket adjustable to suit your needs (0-35 degrees). Concrete walls, hard wooden walls, or massive brickwork are the recommended surfaces for installation. For other wall types, such as insulation, double brick, wood, or vinyl facing, it is advisable to consult a professional.
Please note that the Mcombo Awning is designed for sun protection and is not suitable for use in rainy weather. Regularly check all fittings and connections, and tighten them if necessary. Never install the awning in high-wind areas or near heat sources, and do not place heavy objects on the frame to avoid damage or injury.
